Jackson Yanchus returns for his 7th summer as the Head Coach and Leader of our Senior Varsity Program (AAA u18+).
A former Offensive Lineman for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, he has been coaching at the Community Level since 2013. Coach Yanchus started his OUA coaching career as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach for Laurier in 2013, and worked with the Hawks Offensive Staff through the 2019 season.

We would like to welcome and congratulate Ron Schippling on his appointment as new Head Coach of our AAA u16 team.
Coach Schippling was a coach for one of the top programs in British Columbia prior to coming to Ontario.
Once in Cambridge, he coached multiple levels and for the last few years he has been the Linebackers coach with the u18 team.
During his tenure he has continually developed his players to be some of the best in the province while getting them ready for next level football.
We look forward to the same kind of development with all of our talented u16's. Welcome back Coach Schippling!
Cambridge Minor Football Association would like to welcom and congradulate Steve Fergus on his selection as Head Coach for the AAA u14 team!
Coach Steve has been a long time Lions coach for multiple age groups over the years; his most recent role being the RB coach on the 2022 u16 team.
He is also the Head Coach of the Paris High School Junior Team since their 2009 inception.
Coach Steve's focus on the fundamentals of the game is key at this age of development.

Cambridge Minor Football is excited to announce that Remberto Roque will be returning to coach with the Cambridge Lions, this time with the u12 team!
Coach Roque, a former defensive tackle, brings a his 20yrs of coaching experience to the Cambridge Lion's family.
As the head coach for the Spring 2022 u10 team, he led them to the Provincial Championships and to victory, bringing the trophy home.
Coach Roque is passionate about youth education and development, not only in academics, but through athletics. He is determined to get to know his players' abilities and strengths and help them learn strategies of the game.
We share Coach Roque's excited to be able to lead the u12 Team for another season with an amazingly talented group of players, coaches with true grit and a dedicated community of parents. It is Coach Roque's hope that TOGETHER, we will develop and inspire our young athletes.
Interesting fact about Coach Roque: In addition to being a High School Vice Principal, he is a 10 year veteran of The Canadian Armed Forces & The Royal Canadian Regiment 4th battalion (4RCR).

Coach Sam brings experience as an Assistant Coach with the 2022 U10 Lions Fall Finalists and Head Coach with the 2022 U10 Lions Summer Flag Football program.
Coach Sam is a dedicated youth football coach with a proven ability to instruct, motivate and lead a team of young athletes in every situation.
